Interesting statistics. I was 12 years old when I completed my first rifle safety course through the Boy Scouts of America. That same year I received my first .22LR rifle. I was 14 years old when I was gifted my first revolver, also in .22 Over the decades I've owned all types of revolvers, pistols, rifles, shotguns. All different types of calibers. Literally dozens of weapons. In all that time, I've never had an accident with a firearm, used any weapon in the execution of a crime, shot anyone, been shot, been shot at, or lost a weapon due to theft or negligence. I must be a statistical anomaly. I was stabbed once while being robbed when living in the Philippines. I wonder if statistics are kept on knife violence?
